I am a public relations and communications specialist, writer and freelance journalist based in the San Francisco Bay Area. My background spans media relations and thought leadership across AI, fintech, venture capital, high tech and event design. My Story
I'm a San Francisco based writer specializing in print publishing, creative copywriting, editing, content strategy and public relations.
Previously, I was Editor of South Bay Accent, an award-winning bimonthly lifestyle magazine written for the San Francisco South Bay Area region, including Silicon Valley, San Jose and the Peninsula. In addition to writing engaging, informative and entertaining stories, I was privileged to manage a talented editorial team. My commercial body of work includes numerous copywriting assignments, ranging from corporate mission statements and web content to press releases, email marketing campaigns and social media management.
In my capacity as a public relations specialist, I have strategized communications for medtech, VC funds, food delivery robots, construction mapping drones, chatbot AI, workplace equity tech and other high-tech B2B and B2C clients, defining and amplifying brand vision and crafting meaningful stories that resonated with key stakeholders and audiences.
As a syndicated weekly columnist for Bay Area News Group, I tackled the complex issues endemic to the notoriously fickle SF Bay Area housing market. My column was published in several print and online outlets including The Marin Independent Journal and San Jose Mercury News.
As Interior Design Editor for Florida International Magazine, my coverage of design trends garnered recognition and led to broader themed assignments. Highlights included holiday gift guides, sports features, and local celebrity profiles.
